Job Title: Electronics Engineer (Drone and Automation Firmware)

Location: Noida Sector 63

Type: Full-Time
 

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer (Drone and Automation Firmware) to focus on the development, tuning, and testing of drones, tether and other automation issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modifying and optimizing firmware and extensive experience in flying large drones for testing. This role requires hands-on expertise in firmware development and real-world drone testing, ensuring that our UAVs meet the highest performance and safety standards. Job will be more R&D focussed.
 

Key Responsibilities

Firmware Development:

• Customize and optimize firmware to enhance drone and its tethering system automation.

• Develop, test, and implement new firmware features based on project requirements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve firmware-related issues to ensure smooth and reliable drone operations.

• Work closely with software developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to align firmware development with project goals.

• Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of firmware with drone components.

• Fine-tune flight parameters and settings based on test flight data to achieve optimal drone performance.

• Analyze flight data and provide detailed reports to guide further development and improvements

• Develop automation for tether.

• Maintain and update firmware documentation and code repositories.

• Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers. Stay informed about the latest developments drone and automation technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in drone firmware development.

• Proficiency in modifying and optimizing firmware for various drone applications.

• Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, or similar.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and its applications in UAVs.
